All are welcome to join us for a Day of Fun! August 12, 2017 for the 39th Annual Glenville Community Festival & Parade. Events include 5K Walk, Parade, Youth Amateur Boxing Competition, Outstanding Senior of the Year, 5 Stages of Live Entertainment, Children's Village, Senior Village, Talent Showcase, and more.

 

Youth Amateur Boxing Competition begins at 1:30 pm.

Outstanding Senior of the Year

Each year a senior resident is recognized for outstanding service to the community.

The 2015 Senior of the Year recepient was Mrs. Ida Respress.

GLENVILLE HERITAGE 6TH ANNUAL 5K RUN/WALK

Registration begins 8:00 am. 5K Run/1 Mile Walk begins at 9:00 am. Course begins at Sam Miller Park and goes through historic East Boulevard.

Costs, scholarship and registration information will be made available as the season approaches for the 2017 Glenville Festival and Parade.

GLENVILLE COMMUNITY FESTIVAL AND PARADE

The Glenville Community Festival and Parade has been touted as one of the best community festivals in the City of Cleveland. Children and youth can enjoy “Children's Village” with free pony rides, and inflatables. Seniors will be served free hot lunch from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. in “Senior's Village” while enjoying the entertainment at the Pavilion on the Gardenview Circle Stage.

The Festival is from 12 noon until 8:00 pm. Admission is free and all are welcome. The festival includes a full day of activities. This year’s event will headline some of Cleveland’s greatest entertainers in the area of Jazz, Blues, Reggae, R&B and Gospel.
